GALEN ERSO

Galen Erso was a brilliant scientist and energy specialist, whose expertise in kyber crystal research drew the attention of the Galactic Empire.

Manipulated by his former friend Orson Krennic, Galen was forced to contribute to the construction of the Death Star’s superlaser, a project he secretly despised. Working under Imperial supervision, he covertly built a fatal flaw into the battle station, hoping the Rebel Alliance would one day exploit it.

Despite his moral conflict and captivity, Galen’s quiet act of defiance became pivotal in the eventual destruction of the Death Star, cementing his legacy as a reluctant yet vital ally of the Rebellion.
