YODA (DAGOBAH)
Exile was a
form of punishment or penance used by numerous beings across the
galaxy in which the punished were banished from society. However, not
all cases of exile were in the form of punishment: after Order 66, Jedi
were enemies of the new Galactic Empire.
Yoda decided to go into exile on the system of Dagobah (a hidden marshy planet) after his defeat against the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Sidious but never forgot his past as a Jedi.
When Luke Skywalker arrived on Dagobah, Yoda accepted to train him just as he did for Jedi younglings in the past.
Yoda died on Dagobah at the age of 900, finding the way of immortality.
