DARTH MALAK

Darth Malak was once a Jedi known as Alek Squint, short for Alek Squinquargesimus. His life was turned upside down with the outbreak of the Mandalorian Wars to which he left, against the advice of the Jedi Council and he became, with his friend Revan, a hero of the war.

When the enemy began to retreat, the two friends began a further search, but while traveling the galaxy, they made a discovery that would prove devastating in the years that followed. On the world of Rakata, they found the Star Forge: this terrible superweapon capable of creating combat units of infinite numbers in a very short period of time.

With such great power lying at their mercy, they fell to the Dark Side and took up the weapon to create an army capable of overthrowing the Republic. They thus took the names of Darth Revan and Darth Malak, the first being the most powerful becoming the Sith Master and the second the Apprentice. However, Malak had tried to oppose his master during a duel to steal the title of Dark Lord but was severely beaten and had his jaw cut off.

He was subsequently forced to permanently wear a metal prosthesis to replace the amputated part and be able to speak again: his voice was irreparably changed, adopting a particularly recognizable intonation. Darth Malak’s powers were impressive: he knew how to master all Sith techniques, even life absorption (a power that could not be more obscure).
