TIE PILOT

The TIE fighter was the unforgettable symbol of the Imperial fleet. Carried aboard Star Destroyers and battle stations, TIE fighters were single-pilot vehicles designed for fast-paced dogfights. The terrifying roar of a TIE’s engines would strike fear into the hearts of all enemies of the Empire.

Imperial TIE fighter pilots were an elite class within the military of the Galactic Empire. They piloted the TIE-series starfighters, which was one of the Empire's most recognizable symbols of power. TIE pilots on duty were deliberately kept emotionally unstable and in a constent state of insecurity: this was believed to let them fight more efficiently, although it frequently caused trouble in their interpersonal relationships.
