The Final Order's origins date back to the reign of the Galactic Empire ruled by Emperor Palpatine. With the Emperor's death, the Empire collapsed and gave way to the rise of the New Republic.

Despite the Sith's destruction, their faith in the Dark Side of the Force was kept alive by cultists on the distant world of Exegol led by a reborn Darth Sidious. Determined to forge a new Empire, the Sith Eternal spent decades building a fleet of Xyston-class Star Destroyers, armed with planet-killing technology, and an army of elite Sith Troopers.

Kylo Ren is Supreme Leader Snoke’s apprentice and the so-called "Master of the Knights of Ren". Son of Han Solo and Leia Organa, Ren adopted a helmet reminiscent of the one worn by his grandfather, Darth Vader. The similarities extended to the red blades of Ren’s crossguard lightsaber, which he built using a cracked kyber crystal that gave it an unstable appearance.
