RESISTANCE SOLDIER

Resistance infantry soldiers were personnel trained as army ground troops. In existence approximately 30 years after the Battle of Endor, the soldiers relied on hit-and-run tactics when matched against the First Order's greater military might, similar to the Rebel Alliance troopers who fought against the Galactic Empire.

The Resistance is too small to support dedicated infantry units: hence, technicians, pilots and others are regularly trained to take up weapons and serve as ground troops if necessary.

While hard-pressed against the overwhelming might of the First Order, these improvised soldiers are dedicated and capable: they fought with distinction on Takodana and served as the Resistance’s final defense in the trenches of Crait.
