FLAMETROOPER

These specialist Stormtrooper units advance in conjunction with standard First Order infantry, using incinerators to flush out entrenched enemies with roaring sheets of flame. Flametroopers wear backpack-style propellant tanks, special helmets with slit-like lenses that reduce glare, and temperature-control body gloves beneath their armor.

Son of Han Solo and Leia Organa, Ren adopted a helmet reminiscent of the one worn by his grandfather, Darth Vader. The similarities extended to the red blades of Ren’s crossguard lightsaber, which he built using a cracked kyber crystal that gave it an unstable appearance.
