ANAKIN SKYWALKER (WOUNDED)

After his duel with his former master Obi-Wan Kenobi on Mustafar, Anakin - who had only survived thanks to the Dark Side - was terribly mutilated.

His operation lasted a whole night, to remove all necrotic flesh and melted tissues. He was kept awake by the droids under Sidious' orders to make him stronger through hatred and pain.

All of his implants were of standard or bad quality, as a punishment for his failure.
The armor never fixed his suffering, Vader was in constant pain because of the multiple implants and the armor's heaviness.

During the operation, the droids replaced his spine and integrated electric pulse needles to stimulate his muscles. The mask was the most important part, not only for his breathing (his lungs being severly damaged as a result of the smoke and toxic gases inhaled) but for his sight and his voice.
